The Central Elementary-High School Track and Field team and the middle school team fared well in the Upson-Lee Invitational meet held on Mar. 12 in Thomaston. Several schools, including Upson-Lee High School, Taylor County High, Crawford County High and CEHS, competed in the meet.
The Central Elementary-High School (CEHS) Hawk varsity football team will take to the road this Friday night when the team will travel to Milner to play the Rock Springs Christian Academy (RSCA) Eagles. The Eagles are coming off a big win over a Cross Keys Phoenix team who are 0-3 on the season. The Eagles cruised past Cross Keys in a 44-0 rout.
This past weekend, Talbot County's recreation department traveled to Peach County with four youth basketball teams to participate in the Middle Georgia Regional Tournament. The event was a success, creating fellowship among the youth, coaches, and parents from various teams.
On Feb. 1, the Talbot 8 and under team excelled in their game against Taylor County, securing a decisive victory.
