CEHS Students Earn National Recognition from College Board
Central Elementary-High School is proud to announce that two outstanding students, True Desue and Richard “Landen” Kirk, have earned national recognition from the The College Board National Recognition Program.
The College Board National Recognition Program honors high-performing students across the country, recognizing their academic achievements within the context of their school and community. Students qualify based on their exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT®, commonly referred to as the Practice SAT.

True Desue received both the School Recognition Award and the Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award, highlighting academic excellence and strong performance among students in small or rural communities.
Richard “Landen” Kirk earned recognition in all three available categories: the Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award, the First-Generation Recognition Award, and the School Recognition Award. His accomplishments reflect not only academic achievement but also perseverance and dedication as a first-generation college-bound student.
These national honors provide increased visibility to colleges and universities and serve as a testament to the students’ hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence.
