* A Powerful Bedtime Prayer Before Sleep *
Greetings and blessings! My dear brothers and sisters, we should always pray without ceasing. It is highly essential and very much so, necessary, perhaps especially at bedtime. Reason being, many go to sleep and never awake, not in this world and missed that chance. My wonderful wife and I pray together daily and especially at bedtime. So often, I listen to bed time prayers at night. So if you like, here’s one you can make your personal bedtime prayer:

Reason being, many go to sleep and never awake, not in this world and missed that chance. My wonderful wife and I pray together daily and especially at bedtime. So often, I listen to bed time prayers at night. So if you like, here’s one you can make your personal bedtime prayer:
“Dear Heavenly Father, as I lay down to rest my weary body I come before You with a grateful heart. Thank You for guiding me through this day, for the blessings You’ve bestowed upon me, and for Your unwavering love that surrounds me always. As I close my eyes, I surrender all my worries fears and anxieties into Your hands. Please grant me the peace that surpasses all understanding, calming my mind and soothing my soul. Help me to release any tension or stress that may weigh heavy upon me, knowing that You are in control of all things. Lord, I ask for Your protection through the night. Watch over me and my loved ones, keeping us safe from harm and danger. Surround us with Your angels standing guard over our homes and hearts as I drift into slumber. I pray for those who are suffering tonight, comfort them in their pain, heal their wounds and bring them solace in Your presence. May Your Light shine upon them, guiding them through the darkness into a new dawn of hope and restoration. Father, I lift up my dreams to You, may they be filled with Your promises and visions of Your goodness. Grant me clarity and discernment as I rest, that I may awaken with renewed strength and propose to serve you faithfully. Lastly, I thank You for the gift of another day of life, may I awaken tomorrow with a heart full of gratitude and a readiness to embrace whatever comes my way. Know that You are with me every step of the journey. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.”
Our consistent prayer life can and will make a profound difference in our everyday life! And if we are to busy to pray, we are definitely too busy.
Finally, may everything we do (prayers) bring glory to Your Name Lord, as it is written in Isaiah 41:10. “So do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am Your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will up hold you with my righteous right hand.” To God Be the Glory!

I Can’t Wait for This Year to End
I won’t presume to speak for anyone other than myself, but I will be exquisitely happy to see 2025 in the rear-view mirror of life. Of my years on this planet, it has to rank as one of the worst.
During the course of my 67 years, I’ve had some bad years. I’ve also had some very, very good ones:
There’s 1958, for instance, the year I was born. That has to rate as a good year, at least from my perspective.
I would say 1968 was a good year – that was the year I got to visit the WGN-TV studios in Chicago and attend the Bozo’s Circus show with my school class. Later that year I had the opportunity to meet my boyhood idol, television weatherman Harry Volkman. Mr. Volkman came to speak at our school (at my invitation) and I got my picture in the local neighborhood newspaper with him, on the front page no less.
